V&A Museum

Process videos commissioned by the V&A Museum as an artist’s response to their 2022 exhibition Drawn to Nature celebrating the nature sketch studies of children’s author-illustrator, Beatrix Potter.

Orion Publishing

Keira & Me, an illustrated book written by Noel Fitzpatrick about the life and death of his beloved dog, Keira, featuring more than 60 colour and black and white illustrations created using charcoal, watercolour and ink.

Also created cover image and end papers for a series of books published by Orion: The Book Your Dog/Cat/Puppy Wishes You Would Read.

Mikri Elia

Illustrations for Mikri Elia - Extra Virgin Olive Oil who supplied an imaginative brief telling the story, spirit and heritage of their family-run olive grove. They wanted the final design to convey the importance of environmental sustainability and respect for the ecosystem in which they farm.

The artwork also needed to be simple, use texture to create a tactile experience and adopt a colour palette to complement that of organic extra virgin olive oil.

Environmental details were incorporated into earlier drafts created by hand using cardboard and a comb, watercolour, ink and wax pastel - all cobbled together digitally afterwards.

Vindica Wine

Labels created for Vindica Wine designed in collaboration with Gejst Studio. Brief specified a limited colour palette, and could be abstract but needed to be decodable. A link with the locality of each vineyard was also encouraged. Key words: ‘Relaxed Iberian Wolves / Rustic and earthy nature of the vineyard / Crushed peppercorns’ for example.

Painted by hand using ink, household emulsion, coloured pencil and wax pastels, including printing with a cork and base of a wine glass.
