Dogs

My charcoal drawings of dogs (and cats!) aspire to be spontaneous and soulful whilst avoiding the usual sentimentality associated with animal portraiture. I employ techniques that steer away from traditional applications of charcoal and watercolour to create images filled with both energy and affection.
