Painted directly onto corridor walls using reclaimed household paint from North London Waste Authority, this piece explores the act of creative expression: movement, instinct, and the sensory, physical pleasure of making something with the body and hands.
Two figures in motion sit against blocks of colour and circular forms borrowed from the Dugale Art Centre's interior architecture. Echoes of printed pattern and shape emerge through layers of colour, painted expressively and left unfinished to contrast with the bold, graphic shapes of the contemporary venue.

How the Body Creates
Floor-to-ceiling mural spanning two entrance halls and stairwells at this London primary school, built from the children's own drawings of their dream school. Every pupil in the surrounding classrooms was invited to add a final detail by hand - among them an Iron Man, a flying car, a treehouse, and a bicycle-pedalling giraffe - so the final piece is owned and co-created by the pupils themselves.

School of the Imagination
In many respects Canada Geese are seen as pests: aggressive, noisy, defecating park dwellers. Their ubiquity and their unimpressive markings - compared to other species - make them one of the less-celebrated aquatic birds.
For many of us during 2020, local pockets of nature grew to be our sanctuary. One precious daily walk, and all its offerings, gave new witness to the evolving dramas of the natural world on our doorstep:
The building of a nest; the laying of eggs; the formidability of new parents protecting their young.
In the mundanity of the every day, the seasonal habits of these previously unappreciated urban creatures provided entertainment and solace, fascination and momentum.
This work is a celebration. Of the local and the unremarkable. Of the familiar through new eyes.
