Private workshops

A one-to-one workshop in my studio - a full day (or two) working together, with the time and space to go wherever your practice most needs to go.

We might explore a specific material or technique in depth. We might work through what's been getting in the way - creative stagnation, self-doubt, a practice that's stalled. Or we might simply spend the day making things, with gentle redirection when it's needed. If you're not sure what you need, that's fine. Tell me where you are and I'll take it from there.

Before the workshop we'll have a conversation about what you'd like to get from the day - so that when you arrive, we can get straight to work. We'll also discuss whether one day or two makes most sense for where you are and what you're hoping to achieve.

Topics and areas we can work across include:

  • Watercolour, ink, drawing, printmaking and mixed media techniques

  • Composition and colour

  • Developing and sustaining a sketchbook practice

  • Portfolio development and finding a clear direction

  • Overcoming creative stagnation and self-doubt

  • Finding and trusting your own visual voice

Location: N13, London, UK

Suitable for: Age 16+

Cost: From £750 for 1 day, £1200 for 2 days (including all materials and lunch)

“I am still full of what I encountered in London. The hours with you were the absolute highlight of my trip: stimulating, intense, emotionally touching, and wonderfully intimate. You encouraged me in a great way and took me by the hand. I had the feeling that you knew precisely what I needed to move forward. Your questions were exactly the right ones for me. I feel freed from rules now and that opens me up to new spaces. We will see where this leads…”
