This assortment of prints and shapes have been spread across my desk these past few days. They’re now tucked safely in my hand luggage, ready to make their way to our workshop group: A Sense of Things: Colour, Pattern & Collections in C&aac
These past weeks I’ve been borrowing pattern and colour inspiration from the cultural influences that collide in the Andalusian city of Cádiz - carnival, the Moors, Americas, flamenco…. not to mention the beautiful interior of @ca

Playing and planning with @hannahbolsius in Rotterdam this past week. Making things bigger and smaller and trying to crack the awkwardness of chairs. 

Back in June and August for 2026 workshops - A Sense of Things: Colour, Pattern & Collections
Gathering, collecting, cutting, editing. 

Finding shapes and carving them into lino (or cutting them out of paper) has brought a gentler pace this winter, a calm focus whilst the rain pounds. I’m enjoying the careful craft of it.
